The Queen’s Staff Union campaign presents a talk by Elizabeth Shilton, co-author of Redefining Retirement: New Realities for Boomer Women. The book explores the practical, personal and psychological issues surrounding retirement for Canadian women, and offers concrete strategies for gaining control of the retirement process.

"What to expect when we have our vote"

Come find out who can vote, how the Ontario Labour Relations Board oversees the vote, how the Labour Board ensures the voting is by secret ballot, where the vote will likely be held, what role the Administration has during the vote, and more.
Learn about the 'freeze' that comes into effect once an application for a vote is filed and find out what constitutes a YES vote so that we can win our union for staff.
Open to all staff.
Bring your colleagues, your questions and your lunch.
There will be time for a Q&A after the presentation.
